I recently adopted a dog from the League for Animal Welfare. When they gave me the papers on my new baby, I saw that she had been cared for by A.V.H. for the past 14 months that the League had her waiting for someone to adopt her. I made the choice that if the Doctor and Staff at Anniston Veterinary Hospital had given their time, love, and expertise to help the League, it was my duty to continue her care with them. I had expected them to be more expensive than my other Vet, to cover their expense from caring for the League pets. HOWEVER, I was DELIGHTED when they gave me the bill and I discovered that they were actually CHEAPER than what I had been paying for the yearly checkup. If you are an animal lover, I would recommend Anniston Veterinary Hospital. They care enough that they GIVE their time and ability to help care for those pets in need of a home being housed at the League for Animal Welfare, which is a NO KILL shelter. When I took my scaredy cat in for the first vet visit in AL. I was worried, he stresses very quickly. Everyone just hit the right balance of firmness and caring and Bete totally relaxed. It was great! He didn't even yowl in the car going home! 8^D

Anniston Veterinary Hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Recently when my dog ate my entire bar of baking chocolate while I was sleeping I was able to rush him to the veterinary hospital in the middle of the night. They were able to pump his stomach and he is still here with me today. I am also more cautious about where I store my baking supplies. I am very thankful to Anniston Veterinary and will return there hopefully only for routine shots.
